BrightStars school news

First Semester results were handed out recently at the parent and teacher day. 

Students looking great in the new red and blue uniforms which are more easily maintained than the White and Blue of last year.

 Parents take an active interest in their children's education even though most are illiterate.

 It is great to see so  many proud fathers as well as Mothers attending the open school day

At a recent fair among the hustle and bustle of Dhaka’s stall atmosphere were some Bright Stars selling goods and trying to make a small income.

A craft sale was organised at the Dutch Club in Dhaka and Bright Stars was invited to sell some products including tablecloths, table runners, aprons, coasters, place mats, bed quilts and other handicrafts.

It was also a great opportunity to introduce Bright Stars and the work we do to many people who browse, shop and work at the stalls. It was great exposure for the school to many organisations in the area
