An exceptionally hot day so we chose to walk along the Swaledale Beck (the River) rather than the hill tops covered with the vestiges of past lead mines. It was wonderful to make journey's end in Reeth after the hot day and find a welcome at the Cambridge Inn. God Bless the owners as they had the forsight to install ceiling fans and a bath. Luxury for us after the hot boxes we have been in.
