Galloping Giraffes lead appeal for 2015 EchoStars City2Surf appeal

Why do giraffes have long necks?
To get away from those smelly feet after galloping for EchoStars in annual appeal for your support!

Come on - don't stop at nothing for our 350 children - be a giraffe and reach up a little and try just $10 and watch us reach our target.

Thanks to those of you who got us off and galloping quickly towards our goal of $10,000.
We have close to $700 but we still need more support to make the EchoStars school a reality for our 350 children.
The $10,000 will cover all operation costs for 2016 and give children their human right to an education.

With your direct help big changes will happen in a small forgotten corner of the globe.
We need your support for our 2015 City2Surf
'Build a New School' challenge
to reach our target of $10,000!
NOTE we are using own paypal account for direct donations to
save our volunteer costs.

We thank you for your continued presence on your  journey with EchoStars.

Thanks to your generosity last year we have the funds to construct a modest pre-school and primary school on  Bhola Island Bangladesh.

We need your support to cover the upcoming running costs for 2016.

Our city2surf  goal of $10,000 will extend basic education to 350 children for one year. That's under $30 per child. A great personal investment to give these kids a chance to escape a life of ignorance.
EchoStars proudly supports Australia's Anzac Peace Prize recipient 2015: Fred Hyde, founder of CO-ID.  Read more on CO-ID - CLICK HERE.

On top of his award as Queensland Senior of the Year 2015 he was also awarded the 2015 Anzac Peace Prize, on the centenary of the Gallipoli landing.

Talking of giraffes and  long term vision, the award recognised the 30 years of philanthropic work Fred has devoted to extending primary education to some of the world's most disadvantaged children.

EchoStars is honoured to align ourselves with Fred's charity CO-ID and encourages our donors to support our new 'EchoStars' school project. CO-ID will build the ES schools and supervise all construction and operation for us.
