Our city2surf  goal of $10,000 will extend basic education to 350 children for one year in the new EchoStars pre-school and primary school on Bhola Island Bangladesh.

That's under $30 per child; a great personal investment to give these kids a chance to escape a life of ignorance.

ES guarantee your money gets to these kids and is not used up in charity administration costs; we volunteer everything we need.
Thanks to Giles Andreae and Guy Parker-Rees for the use of the graphics from 'Giraffes can't dance' (giraffe graphics used on this campaign.)

Happy Galloping Giraffe Veronika about to lead the way for EchoStars.

The Giraffes were a welcome sight on the race adding to the joyous atmosphere of the day. We would love more of you to come and join our team next year and be part of the fun.

Lots of great kids volunteer on the day .

Those packs look heavy – a great reminder of the fantastic guys and gals in our armed services protecting our way freedom and way of life.

The smurfs are always a happy moment on the race.

Heidi and Nicola here were friendly helpers when they thought I needed some support on the race. Thanks girls - you reminded me that kindness is not a lost social grace.

Lots of children on the race this year. EchoStars needs kids and Mums like Issi and Beccy here in the team for 2016. Come join the 2016 team all you  families and open your children's eyes to those less fortunate than we are. Just a little help changes lives forever.

Army guys and girls were prominent on the race. EchoStars thought this very appropriate as we begin our preparations for the Anzac Centenary Kangaroo March.
The Galloping Giraffes were not galloping after the race. Those suits got dreadfully hot so ES congratulates the perseverance of the Giraffes for getting to the finish line in such good time. FIRST PLACE in Giraffe category.
Thanks to all for your support.
Rose Figtree
