The concert is brought to you through the support of St Jude's Music association.

EchoBeat is held in this magnificent garden under the giant Old Oak Tree in the background. The garden was  the inspiration behind 'growing' BrightStars School. While developing and laying out the 5 acres of garden Rose Figtree was inspired to want to make the garden more meaningful and so began EchoStars for the street children and their older sisters & mothers of Dhaka. 3 years later the garden has helped raised the funds to build a 5 storey school and develop the BrightStars School Development Program.  Farnborough recently welcomed the #Moreton Club from Brisbane. Our Austrlain Gardens covered this visit – here's a preview of the garden : http://ouraustraliangardens.tumblr.com/

Robyn Kremer has been with EchoStars since inception. She has been able to secure fantastic talent every year for our EchoBeat that is sure to delight you all. Following are some photos of Rose Figtree's recent trip to BrightStars School where Eid was celebrated with a special meal for the children prepared here on the roof of the school.

I wonder what Rabiul will do for the concert this year? Thursday December 6 at BrightStars - our next Bolywood star is sure to surprise and delight us.

Rose enjoys a quiet moment with the Christian and Hindu children at this predominantly Muslim school. Alternative chicken meal is served to the beef that the Muslim children enjoy. While all children have a predominantly vegetarian life diet it is  one of the few occasions of the year where meat supplements their diet if they can afford it. EchoStars does not question religious devotion rituals of various religions but prevails to respect all the values as long as human rights are always observed in these values.

Funds are limited but the Sewing for Sustainability program is taking small steps towards succes. The Christmas Stall at EchoBeat will have a limited number of products for sale.  One of our supporters has just bought all but one of one new retro aprons. More are being made in this photo. The sewing program has highlighted the illiteracy problem for the female relatives of BrightStars students. With funds we will be able to start the literacy program in 2013. The program plan has been prepared and the course can start if EchoBeat is a success. We need $7,000

A sign goes on the school in recognition that Australia is responsible for the existance of this school.

Rose helps serves the Eid meal.

Kooki is one of the big smiles at BrightStars. She graduated from the special needs program and is now a Star in the mainstream school.

Your support for the recent city2surf fund event has given our Stars a library and now we want to give their sisters some literacy skills. Education changes a child's life and makes the stars shine brighter. See you at EchoBeat Sunday Nov 25th 12 noon.
LOL Rose Figtree
